Terms of Service

By downloading or using ReadToLoud ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReadToLoud, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

2. Subscription and Billing

ReadToLoud uses a freemium model:

• Free trial: 3 document analyses are included at no charge at first launch.
• Monthly subscription: Core and Full editions are available as monthly auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices vary by region.
• Credit packages: One-time purchases of analysis credits (Starter, Plus, Pro). Credits do not expire.
• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Sale.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for illegal purposes or in violation of any applicable law.
• Redistribute, sublicense, or sell access to the App.

4. AI Features and Limitations

ReadToLoud uses AI to process documents, audio, and text. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated outputs (transcriptions, translations, legal analysis, response letters) may contain errors.
• AI-generated legal responses are informational only and do not constitute legal advice.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and using any AI-generated content.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for all content you process through the App. You agree not to use the App to process:

• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Confidential third-party information without proper authorization.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadToLoud and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict of law principles.
